Description
This course is a level 1 Guide in SwiftUI and Swift Programming. It takes the topic from a beginner's point of view and majors on covering the very basics of starting with iOS development, explaining the most basic concepts such that someone with no prior programming knowledge can follow this course and not only build an iOS app but also explain why and how some concepts are important, also it is patched as a foundational course that is a stepping stone to learning deeper concepts. As a follow-up to this level 1, a Level 2 Guide will be up soon in a bid to make the student learn more complex concepts having the right foundation from this level 1 Guide course begins off by first introducing Xcode IDE to the student and helps the student to understand what is Xcode and why we need it, also it takes another step of helping the user navigate through the different major areas of Xcode assuming that my students an absolute beginner. Further, the course introduces SwiftUI from a beginner's point of view and covers several basic concepts on how the student can use different SwiftUi elements to build the UI, as well as covering some of the important concepts and most used UI elements. At the end of each lesson there are practice questions for the user. Next the course introduces Swift Programming basics and covers a ranger of concepts and at the end of each lesson, there are also practice questions for the student. To put together some of the knowledge gained, the course uses several demos and also a playground to practically explain the concepts. The last section of this course teaches the student how to use Github in Xcode and covers this topic in detail. With this last section, there is an assignment that helps the student put into practice the knowledge gained to integrate their own Xcode app to Github. This course is ideal for anyone who has never had prior knowledge of iOS development and offers a strong foundation for learning iOS development.
