Turn you dreams of building your own apps into a reality with me. I'm a Senior iOS Engineer building cool apps everyday for big companies alongside launching my own apps on the Apple App Store.
In this class, I'll take you through the basic steps of how to build your first iOS app. We'll break down (1) the development tools needed to build an iOS app, (2) how to create a user-facing view with common layout tools and (3) how to add functionality to our view with functions and variables.
In 2018, I had just started taking computer science courses in University and in my second year of University, I decided to pursue mobile development on the side. By starting off with simple projects, I was able to start building a solid foundation in iOS development, launch my own apps on the Apple App Store, participate in hackathons and entrepreneurial events, and of course land 6-figure iOS engineering roles.
Now that I'm a senior iOS engineer, I still rely on basic techniques and simple projects like the one in this course to start new projects or mentor junior engineers who want to start a career in iOS development.
