The instructor for this course, models writing each paragraph and gives specific examples of an outlined five-paragraph essay. Furthermore, the instructor shares her experiences and expertise as a former high school educator to assist current educators in developing lesson plans for essay writing that are inclusive to all learning levels and abilities. This course is detailed and utilizes repetition, modeling, wait-time, and guided instruction to assist students and educators in learning and teaching the five-paragraph essay process.
