So, you can start speaking in Japanese from Day 1. This course also explains the cultural contexts that are related to the topics - i.e., food, money, and manners. After completion of this course, you will be able to have a good range of basic conversations.Course Outlines and Objectives:Lesson 1 Greetings- Be able to greet in a wide range of situations in a culturally appropriate manner.- Be able to properly use common phrases such as "thank you", "I am sorry", "Excuse me", etc.Lesson 2 Self-introduction- Be able to do a self-introduction in several situations.Lesson 3 Nouns + Asking What Something is in Japanese- Be able to say the names of objects around you.- Be able to ask what something is in Japanese.Lesson 4 Numbers (up to 10)- Be able to count up to 10.Lesson 5 Asking for and Giving Phone Numbers- Be able to exchange phone numbers properly.Lesson 6 Nouns 2 + Asking Where Something is.- Be able to say the names of items such as clothing, furniture, and accessories.- Be able to ask where an item you are looking for is in stores.- Be able to name the floors of a building.Lesson 7 Big Numbers (up to 100)- Be able to count up to 100.Lesson 8 Asking and Telling Time- Be able to ask and tell time.Lesson 9 Daily Schedule- Be able to explain what your daily schedule is.Lesson 10 Asking What is This or That (Ko-so-a-do) + Japanese Food- Be able to clearly refer to objects that are close to you or far from you.- Be able to ask what this (thing) or that (thing) is.- Be able to explain what Japanese meals are like.Lesson 11 Large Numbers (up to 10,000)- Be able to count up to 10,000.Lesson 12 Asking for Prices- Be able to ask what this (thing) or that (thing) is.- Be able to explain how people exchange money in Japan.Lesson 13 Ordering- Be able to order a meal at a restaurant or café.
