Description
In this course, I will teach you all the sounds of American English. This will be the foundation of your better and more natural pronunciation in English. After learning these concepts about phonetics, you'll be able to keep improving and practicing on your own. You'll notice a reduction in your accent as well. This course will be very straightforward. Don't buy it if you want something more detailed. I'll share a complete PDF file I crafted myself, with a list of all sounds in American English, with many examples. I'll explain all the topics of this document in the videos. With this PDF file, you'll be able to review everything later, without having to go back to the videos (most courses won't offer you this).I'll discuss the most common mistakes made by non-native speakers (according to my experience).I'll tell you how I practiced my own pronunciation. I'll share some free and effective strategies to practice on your own. What this course is going to be like? I'll share with you this PDF file with all the sounds of American English (no British English). This file has one topic for each sound, comparing them with other similar sounds. For example, there is a topic about the vowel sounds in the words B%itc#h and Beach (/ɪ/ and /iː/). I'll show you how to make those sounds, point out the differences between them, and show a couple of examples for you to practice. If you don't know what the IPA is, don't worry. I'll teach the IPA, highlight some important details, show you the symbols, and teach you how to use the IPA effectively.READ THIS BEFORE BUYING THIS COURSE:> I'M NOT AN ENGLISH TEACHER! > I am a non-native English speaker just like you! > Expect to see a lot of grammar mistakes (written and spoken). This is a course about pronunciation only (from my perspective)! > I decided to create this course to share everything I learned about pronunciation and I believe that is a great help for people who struggle to speak out loud. > Before learning all those phonetics concepts, I wasn't able to speak at all! Once I started fixing my biggest mistakes related to word pronunciation, I was finally able to, at least, speak words! If that helped me, I hope that helps you as well.> Only buy this course if your English is not as advanced as mine and if you think you can learn from me. > My goal in this course is to help people below my level who watched the promo video and liked the way I sound. > See me as your classmate rather than your teacher. Let's learn together!
