This course will teach you all the poses you need to teach a chair yoga course. You'll get to know more about your audience, the type of classes you might be teaching, and how to set up a class. Rebecca talks you through how to incorporate poses into your classes, and how to give adequate and in depth warm ups. Rebecca also show you detailed breathing techniques to start off a class, as well as deep relaxation techniques to end a class with. You'll learn how to best structure your class, use straps and blocks, as well as having a go at a short class at the end of the course.This course counts towards your CPD yoga training hours (2 hours learning time total). You can teach Chair Yoga on completion of this qualification.Learn how to convert standard Hatha yoga poses such as 'Tree Pose' or 'Eagle' into chair based poses. Learn different breathing techniques such as Single Nostril Breathing. And different variations of mindfulness and relaxation, such as visualisation and sensory mindfulness.Learning to teach chair yoga is an invaluable skill for yoga teachers and health professionals alike. It is a wellness option that is accessible to all ages and abilities, and is currently in high demand.
