This refined painting is perfect to release mental stress and restore your energy. Over 2,000 years ago this art originated from China, and this art form still enjoys its solid status in the art world until today. In this peony flower and bee painting course, we will start from scratch, from the familiarisation of the painting materials to outlines and then move on to the coloring of each of the objects. We will also discuss relevant Chinese cultural aspects during our classes. This course however, does not include the sketching part of the painting, instead, you will be able to download the already made black and white outline. The illustration part requires a very different skill set, and therefore it will not be stressed in our beginner level course. Like a bottle of good wine, this painting requires patience and care, which you will cultivate along the painting process, and you will slow down automatically, as will the world around you - enjoy this excellent time of peace and quiet.This course will be focused on painting the symbolic peony flowers and in addition, we are going to learn how to paint bees, including their transparent wings.
