Description
Education is a maturity process, it is a tool used to equip one with knowledge and comprehension. Education is acquiring of knowledge, knowledge is acquired through the exposure and engagement with the knowledgeable. Education in African context means that the child needs to be exposed to the cultural lifestyle and get guidance from their parents, whom are responsible to pass on knowledge from their forefathers to their children. Therefore, education is based on morals governed by humility. Therefore, it is parents first whom needs to be educated before they can educate their children. Education is a model for building a child to be a well-developed and self-sustainable structure in the future.Education is meant to assist one to acquire knowledge on how to go about in life. Ultimately one needs to be able to live life to the fullest, knowing the value of nature to the well-being of humanity and why we need to preserve it. Therefore, education should best teach one how to live in harmony with nature and creation, education need to embrace the love and appreciation of nature and comprehension of the natural state of things, thus, education should mature one.Education on its own is progressive, thus the best way to educate a child is to involve the child from infancy, impress and instill the way of life on the child, so that he may know how to go about life. Thus, the education model is to be practical and inclusive of all spheres of life, not limiting them to anything under the umbrella called profession. There is no better teacher of life more than nature itself or rather life itself, life is a silent teacher that needs one to be continuously in-contact with, observe and learn from, hence the model for education needs to be practical.
