In this Elementary Reading class we will have a blast learning how to identify the middle (2nd) sound in words using puzzle picture cards, magnetic letters (by themselves), magnetic letters on a small whiteboard, various 3-letter words typed on an online whiteboard, and a fun Scavenger Hunt Phonics game will be played to help you identify the middle sounds of items around your home (or wherever you may be)! This class is loaded with fun! It is important that we learn how to identify the middle (2nd) sounds in words in order to learn how to read. Learning Phonics (in general) is necessary when it comes to truly knowing how to read. We have to master this skill before we can move forward to the next skills in reading. I hope your engines are ready! I hope you're ready for blast off! This is going to be an experience that you've never been a part of before! I'm ready, and I hope you are too!
