This beginners course is designed to introduce those with no prior background in computer science to the look and feel of software code. The live coding demo should how Python code is very simple to begin learning and yet can be applied to do real world. The live demo will show you exactly how to use Classes, Function, Primitive Types, Conditionals, Loops, and Data Structures to actively manipulate and search through data. Two coding exercises are included with auto graders and solutions that allow you direct in-course coding practice in Python. By the end of the lecture, live coding examples, and coding assignments you should feel comfortable writing and reading simple Python code.
At this point, you will have a pretty good idea if you find this subject interesting and would like to pursue more learning in the field.
