Like any other industry construction industry has it own mechanism of payments. Payments are a lifeline for the success of any project. The core responsibility of quantity surveyor is to initiate the payments by following the procedure.
The name of the course Quantity Surveying: Construction Payments is an effort to provide project-based training that will help students to build their knowledge and confidence.
So what we learn in this course? First, I divided this course into four sections that comprise 18 HD lectures along with specified resources. These sections will deal with introducing the course, basic training of payments and extensive focus has given to the various aspects of the project. Furthermore, it deals with Understanding of Interim Payment Application/certification with project-based examples and payments under FIDIC Contracts. The last section is designed to give students' understanding of Final accounts and Final payment procedure.
