CIMCO A/S has released CIMCO Software 2026 (26.01.11) is a popular software that allows CNC machining technicians to edit NC code, simulate tool paths, and evaluate the safety of CNC machining programs.
The CIMCO Software 2026 release introduces several important enterprise-focused enhancements designed to strengthen security, simplify management, and improve interoperability:
- Encrypted communication between clients and servers is now enabled by default, improving security across the entire system.
- A new REST API allows seamless integration with third-party management and automation tools.
- Office document preview in the NC-Base Client, enabling Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files to be viewed directly within the application without opening external programs.

- Fix: Fixed OPC UA monitoring by updating OPC and resolving dependency conflicts.
- Fix: Fixed issues with receive translators being applied to compressed files resulting in corrupt files.
- Change: Changed default value of "Show only ports allowed by NCBase" to be consistent across DNC-Max Admin & CIMCO Editor DNC-Max Admin plugin (defaults to false now).

- Fix: Web Client: Fixed issue with showing individual OEE Gauges in the historical dashboards.
- Fix: Web Client: Fixed issue causing live screen translations to not always load correctly.
- Fix: Fixed issue in the Heidenhain protocol where PLC data paths of type boolean returned the strings "True" and "False" instead of the expected values 1 and 0. (S29135)
- Fix: Fixed issue when automatically generated reports use incorrect locale settings.
