Version 2022 includes many major new features. First, "All tracks are equal." All 24 tracks have the same features, including styles and generation. There are Playable RealTracks - Customize RealTracks performances by adding your own notes using the sounds from the RealTracks recording. There's a brand new MultiRiff feature for interactively arranging sections of RealTracks as you create a track by choosing from multiple versions.
You can now enter MicroChords with 4 chords per bar (previous limit was 1). With new motifs, you can introduce rhythmic patterns for style instruments. We've added node-based volume automation, allowing you to precisely control the volume of any track for fading, muting, and other volume changes. Audio Drum Stems individual tracks from various microphones in a RealDrums recording are now available for 40 RealDrums, with more to come. There is a track settings and actions window, a single window for accessing and editing track functions from a single window (previously this required multiple menu visits). You can remix complete vocal songs with over 50 complete original songs (Pop, R&B, Modern Country), high quality, great sounding vocals, harmonies and Band-in-a-Box® arrangements! Use them to remix your own new arrangements.

The BAND-in-a-Box® 2022 DAW plugin offers over 40 exciting new features, including the Chord Settings dialog box (with Chord Builder, Chord Theory, and Microchords tabs), Microchords (allows you to use multiple chords per bar), four pages for 32 tracks (8 style tracks, 16 service tracks and 8 tracks with multiple riffs) plus a Style Mix track, ability to drag and drop MIDI chords and markers in DAW, volume sliders for each track, ability to save /download chord progressions and more!
