This type of squelch is optional and Corona Renderer will work fine even if not installed (for example, if you are using AMD or an integrated GPU). We also offer a high quality denoiser that uses exclusively the CPU and this denoiser can be used on any computer that can run Corona Renderer.


There are no more specific hardware requirements.
Note:
Corona Renderer officially supports 3ds Max 2018-2022.
Corona Renderer will also install and run under 3ds Max 2014-2017 and should work as expected. however, support for these versions is unofficial as we cannot test Corona Renderer under versions prior to 3ds Max 2018 due to licensing restrictions from Autodesk.
Description : Corona Renderer - before you an excellent and already gaining popularity tool for rendering in 3ds Max. The plugin can compete with other well-known giants like V-ray and MentalRay. If you are using 3ds Max versions 2014 to 2022, you will be able to use this software.
-The new sky model has a better overall hue for daytime lighting, but most importantly keeps the sun below the horizon (only -2.85 degrees, or roughly 5.4 times the diameter of the sun) for dawn / dusk.
-Randomized tiles in UvwRandomizer avoid the "repeating pattern" that even seamless textures have
-New Responsive Environment Sampler eliminates the need for portals, saving you the time (and pain!)
Of setting them up, while giving you more accurate results -New lens effects give you Significantly more control over bloom and highlights
-Updated material library with 78 new materials
-New masking capabilities that work in reflections and refractions give you more control in post
-Support Phoenix FD foam so you can take full advantage of Phoenix FD water simulation
