TA Solutions TA Roads Toolkit is an Autodesk Civil 3D toolkit designed to automate repetitive road-design tasks across alignments, profiles, profile views, corridors, corridor surfaces, and cross sections. It brings commonly repeated operations into dedicated dialogs and commands, allowing Civil 3D designers and technicians to process multiple alignments and related objects with fewer manual steps.
The toolkit is intended for highway, subdivision, and infrastructure projects where road models contain multiple alignments and require consistent drawing standards. Its workflow can take centreline polylines through alignment creation, surface and design profiles, profile views, corridors, corridor surfaces, sample lines, and section views.
TA Roads Toolkit is built to work with existing Civil 3D project standards. Created objects use the user's styles, label sets, assemblies, and surfaces, while processing progress and skipped items are reported during automated operations.
Software Overview
TA Roads Toolkit provides a Road Wizard containing eight stages for developing a road-design workflow. Users can select where the process should stop with the "Create up to here" option or run the complete sequence through finished cross-section sheets. The toolkit also provides twenty-eight individual commands organized on the ribbon according to the typical order of road-design work. Alignment tools can create alignments from polylines, apply naming conventions, add optional curves between tangents, reverse alignment direction, and manage label set styles in bulk.
Profile tools can sample surface profiles for alignments and create design profiles with PVIs corresponding to the surface start and end elevations. Profile and label set styles can also be updated using keywords. Profile view tools provide grid-based placement, band-set assignment, multi-selection editing, and bulk band-set style importing.
Corridor tools support creation from alignments and assemblies with sixteen frequency settings presented in a tabbed panel. Existing corridor frequencies can be edited, multiple corridors can be merged, and target surfaces can be assigned after corridor creation. Corridor surface tools support top, datum, and generic surfaces with overhang correction and outer boundaries generated from point codes.
Cross-section functions automate sample-line creation and section-source selection for alignments. Existing sample-line groups can have their section sources retoggled, while section views can be arranged on a custom grid or using a native Civil 3D group Description style. Section bands can also be edited across selections or populated through imported band-set styles.

Why Choose TA Solutions TA Roads Toolkit
TA Solutions TA Roads Toolkit is suited to Civil 3D professionals who repeatedly perform road-design operations across multiple alignments. By grouping common tasks into automated commands and a guided workflow, it reduces repetitive interaction when developing larger road and infrastructure drawings. The toolkit also fits projects that must follow established CAD and BIM standards. Because its operations work with the project's existing styles, label sets, assemblies, and surfaces, the resulting Civil 3D objects can remain aligned with the standards already used by the design team.
