R&B, developer of the computer-aided mold design (CAMD) technology used by over 1,500 customers around the world, announces the release of SplitWorks 2019 Service Pack 0 for SOLIDWORKS.
This service pack includes a new menu to extract parting surface created on one of the inserts (i.e. core or cavity) and use it as a parting surface for the other half (i.e.cavity or core respectively). New Options menu has been added to improve customization of environment and general improvements to Split Part, Sub-Insert, Plug Holes and other minor functionality is included.
SplitWorks is a revolutionary new product, using advanced technology, to automate the process of core and cavity separation and creation for the plastic molding, blow molding, sheet metal (progressive dies, bending), aluminum injecting, investment casting, wax molding for ceramics technology industries, including advanced technology to update the inserts after any modifications or additions to the part including changed IGES/Parasolid files!
