OkMap Desktop is an interactive mapping application that allows users to work with web maps, purchased digital maps, scanned maps, vector data, and digital elevation model (DEM) information. It provides tools for organizing routes, waypoints, and tracks directly on a computer and transferring GPS-related data between the application and compatible devices.
The software supports raster, vector, and hybrid maps and can work with multiple maps simultaneously. Users can calibrate raster maps, manage vector objects, select multiple map elements, and use various zooming, fitting, and map navigation functions.
OkMap Desktop also provides cartographic projection and datum databases, GPX data management, map annotations, and altitude-related functions. It can automatically assign altitude information and estimate travel times based on the configured map and route data.
