So80s pres. 80s 12" Compiled by Blank & Jones is designed and signed as a reference on your choice of several exchangers file. While Blank & Jones were digging in their 80s Vinyl Collections some time around 2009, they were so inspired that they wanted to enjoy the one or the other 12" single more regularly, possibly in the car, at a kitchen party etc. So Blank & Jones started looking for them on CD and were surprised that not many 80s compilations featured their beloved 12" format. Most of them used vinyl rips. So step by step they developed the so8os [so eighties] concept. The most important fact would be, beside a strictly subjective song choice, the sound quality. To them it only makes sense to release CDs or high resolution digital formats when the source is the original mastertape and not a vinyl transfer.
