They will delve into the mind of Eugène Marais, who lived with a troop of wild baboons for three years and studied baboons, termites and nature in the wild. They will come to understand why he is regarded as the Purest Genius that the Natural Sciences have seen and the founder of Ethology, the study of animal behaviour. Readers will be awed by the work of John Findlay, aptly called the Metaphysics leading light , firstly for rediscovering and unravelling the philosophies of Plato, but then formulating and developing the science of Tense Logic in Metaphysics. The readers will meet Herman van Niekerk, aptly called the human encyclopaedia , who have discovered the foundation of the forming of colours in birds in specific blocks where certain pigments become active. He also discovered four colour gene defects that is responsible for colour changes in birds. He developed the concept of the magenta trap in bird breeding. As magenta is not a light wave colour - it can not be seen in a rainbow - the human eye will detect a magenta-coloured bird as white. The bird breeder must, therefore, when planning his breeding, plan the breeding with virtual birds on a computer, where magenta would be visible, thereby eluding the magenta trap.
As an astonishing outflow of his research, Herman discovered that the same gene defects that cause colour changes in birds, are also found in humans and determine hair, eye and skin colour, as well as conditions such as colour blindness. This now opens up the road for Anthropologists to clearly trace the distribution of man across the globe over time, by analysing skin colour according to his laws, while a cure for colour blindness is now also predicted by Herman. Some horse breeders lately also breed horses with specific markings on the same principles. Introductory information on these new avenues of research is included in the chapter about him.
The insight, discoveries and continuous productive work of these four remarkable scientists in fields and areas yet unknown to man at the time of their work, is absolutely incredible.
