This make the theory original and precursor, since it foresees the impact of international trade in the culture and the Law by unveiling the political interference that international commercial relationships may lead in the receiving country or goods, services and technology buyers.
The preliminary outline of this theory was exposed in 1997 in the magazine IusetVeritas y PolнticaInternacional. Later, it was consolidated and based in Hamburg, thanks to the support given by the Max Planck Institute to the author during the four years (2009-2013) he stated as visitor and research professor.
Jьrgen Basedow, principal of the Max Planck Institute, and one of the most prestigious European international jurists states in the prologue of the author "...has produced a comprehensive picture of the development of international trade from its origins to the present date, of the tensions existing between economic incentives and motivations on the one side and political regulation on the other, of the various institutions that have been established over time in order to create a legal framework for commercial operations [...] His perspective is holistic, including economic, political and legal aspects. He carefully avoids
narrowing his analysis to the black letter of public international law. In a cosmopolitan perspective the author lays the foundations for a comprehensive understanding of cross-border economic relations in a globalized environment. It is this holistic approach which hopefully will turn out to prove a successful counter-model to the specializations inherent in modern education and scholarship."
